LEADING WITH PROFESSIONALISM, COMPASSION,
AND EXPERIENCE
Join me as we restore civility and effective leadership to the D11 School Board.
Politics have taken hold of Boards of Education, and D11 has not been immune. The District has been plagued by inconsistencies in outcomes across schools in our community. When special interests and political agendas are raging, students get the short end of the stick.
All schools should have access to resources that support stabilizing those outcomes. A child’s zip code should not determine their ability to succeed. This always has been and always will be my focus.
My run for school board has three goals:
To restore civility to the board room.
Demonstrating to students how to lead with compassion, articulate leadership, and inspire the next generation of leaders. To enhance student achievement.
Physical health, emotional health, and safe environments all contribute to a student’s ability to navigate challenging curriculum. A students zip code should never determine their outcome. To increase direct classroom support.
Smaller class sizes support academic achievement and staff, parent, teacher and community satisfaction.

STUDENT FOCUSED

“I just wanted to tell you something. I am 37 and have never voted. Ever. The only reason I am even registered is because it was a requirement to pass PoliSci100 in college. I have a hard time feeling like I know enough unbiased information about a candidate because of other people’s baised opinions and the point of view of the media, so I have always trusted the opinion of the masses. Well, friend, I just voted. I only had the courage to fill in one little bubble, but it was next to your name. Good luck, and I wish you the best.”
